Known – proven – popular: AVAbatch mixers for the production of battery masses

One of the world’s largest producers of battery massesfor Li-Ion-rechargeableshas selected an AVA high performance mixer for the capacity expansion of his site in Canada. Filter cake, additive powdersand liquidsare intensively mixed in 2000 litre batches. The machine is manufactured in stainless steel and equipped with a CIP cleaning system.The proven AVA agitator was built with adjustable paddles permitting wall distances varying between 5 and 25 mm depending on the task. Dead space free nozzles for a later addition of choppers were included. Liquid lubricated double mechanical seals were chosen as the optimal solution for the shaft sealing.
