With the HTC and HTK series dryer variants, the product is moved along the length of the heated drum wall. Mixing with an aggregate serves to create a uniform temperature and product humidity in the product chamber. Special paddle forms ensure an optimal heat transfer between the product and wall. The result is: advantageous short drying times which can be further reduced by means of a vacuum.

Technology for drying, reacting or cooling

Turbulent function in a mechanically produced fluidized bed or moving aggregate.
Drying temperatures: –20 to 600 °C
Heat distribution media: steam, thermal oil, water
Coolant: Brine solution or water
Temperature transfer by means of cylinder jacket, half-pipe and shaft
Materials: from high-carbon steels to high-quality stainless steels, e.g. Hastelloy
Pressure in products and in heating chamber: -1 to +40 bar
GMP and CIP variants, conforming to FDA
Agglomerate pulverisation by means of application of cutting head / chopper
Pressure and vacuum tight emptying flap system, dead spot free, high-temperature resistant, with inflatable seal
Shaft seal systems: compression gland, radial shaft seal ring, maintenance free special lip washer seal, mechanical shaft seal

Application specials

Drying of watery solutions and solvent-based filter cakes from centrifuges, candle filters, band-pass filters, nutsch filters, etc.
Drying of multi-phase mixtures through phase separation by means of precise control of the conditions (pressure, temperature)
Evaporation of high-boiling products (e.g. hydrocarbons) or temperature sensitive products (e.g. biological) under vacuum conditions.
Exothermal and endothermic reactions
Cleaning of contaminated soils by means of high temperatures and vacuum conditions
Concentration of nuclear waste
Drying of stripping processes
One-side bearing with extendable agitator
