With the horizontal single shaft dryer type HTC-E, AVA once again presents innovative machine engineering in the field of mixing and drying technology. The challenges experienced by AVA during the developing have been particulary due to the high temperature range, the defined centricity of the main shaft with the mixer tools and a single-sided agitator bearing. Additionally, the design of the vessel considers the cubic expansion, in which an optimum production process is evaluated for the customer on the basis of defined heat-up and cool-down rates. The sealing, as a combination of different systems, now delivers the optimum solution. Numerous test sequences have shown options, to counteract the product sintering on the vessel walls and the build-up of crust. The result is the complete and highly complex new design of an innovative high-tech horizontal reactor, which meets every requirement of the challenging application. Either for the producing of base substances in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry, or for the sterilization of medical waste: No standard, but innovation on the basis of customer requirements.
